During the summer of 1998 Albert was invited to the Pilchuck Glass School for a residency. The primary result was a body of glass elements that would be used in sculptures of glass and steel. The secondary result was that Albert had the opportunity to explore vitreography at the school print studio, producing a lithograph and his first series of mono prints. Paley produced a series of 33 vitreographs, 2 monoprints and a single lithograph.
