This set was a commission for the Washington Hebrew Congregation. The monumental menorahs and flower stands were placed to the right and left of the main pulpit in the synagogue. The sconces were installed in a small memorial room. Their banner shapes continue the theme established by the flower stands and menorahs on the bimah in the main sanctuary.
